			The Barn is a lovingly restored spacious two bedroom cottage located in Casa de Sao Bras just 1½km from Ansião town center. Fresh bread is delivered daily to the cottage and just a few minutes walk is a frienldy local shop and bar.
			The Barn is a two story cottage, set slightly back from the quiet road, located in a traditional Portuguese village with beautiful views, less than 5 minutes drive from shops and restaurants of Ansião town centre. The Barn has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 6. One bedroom is located on the ground floor and the master bedroom on the upper floor. For your comfort during the winter season there is a log burner that radiates heat through all top floor rooms.
			The main entrance is located at the side of the house and is accessed via a loose stone sloped path leading to a short set of steps. The entrance opens onto a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area.
			The cosy lounge area has a sofabed, armchairs, coffee table and log burner. For your entertainment there is satellite tv, ADSL internet connection and books. The sofabed sleeps 1 adult or 2 children.  The dining area has a table and 6 chairs.
				Kitchen The kitchen area has fitted cupboards, a fridge/freezer, microwave, free standing cooker, kettle and toaster. All pots, pans, crokery etc are provided. Master Bedroom The master bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a chest of drawers with mirror above and a wardrobe. Bathroom The tiled bathroom has a bath with shower above, toilet, a wash stand sink with mirror above and a heated towel rail.
			Ground Floor Bedroom The ground floor bedroom is independent of the upper floor (no internal stairs) and has its own entrance to the front of the cottage. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds, clothes rail, desk, wicker storage chest and electric radiator.
			Next to the ground floor bedroom is a laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
			Outside Areas To the front of the cottage there is an elevated terrace with benches and far reaching views of the village and beyond... To the rear of the cottage is a private enclosed landscaped garden with sun terrace threshing circle, sun loungers, table and chairs and a bbq.

			Location Ansião town centre is only 5 minutes drive and has all the amenities you would expect from a large town, including a lively outdoor market on Saturday mornings. Ansião has a cinima showing original language films and an indoor swimming pool.The university city Coimbra, the world heritage site of Tomar, the pilgrimage town of Fatima and the Atlantic coast, are all only 45 minutes drive.
				The Barn is an ideal holiday location for families and friends to enjoy relaxing countryside walks in the surrounding areas of natural beauty or to just sit back and relax in a tranquil environment.
