Booking Terms and Conditions - The Zororo Retreat
  1. peaceful-portugal.com act as Advertising Agents on behalf of the Owner/s of the holiday accommodation (the Property Owner). Accordingly, any contract made is between the person making the booking (the Holidaymaker) and the Property Owner. A contract will be entered into on the issue by The Zororo Retreat of a booking confirmation.

  2. All bookings must be accompanied by a €200 deposit in low season and €300 deposit in high season. The final balance is payable 21 days prior to arrival if payment is made by personal cheque. The final balance is payable 14 days prior to arrival if payment is made by bank transfer. Deposits are payable by the following means:

    • Personal Cheque
    • Bank Transfer

    Bookings may be subject to cancellation if the payment balance is not received by the due date.

  3. All cancellations must be notified in writing to The Zororo Retreat. The contract requires the Holidaymaker to pay for the room booked in the event of a cancellation unless:

    1. The Zororo Retreat are notified of the cancellation 3 months or more prior to the start of the holiday 50% deposit is refundable.

    2. having been notified of the cancellation less than 3 months prior to the start of the holiday the whole amount of the deposit is non refundable.

  4. The Holidaymaker undertakes to keep the accommodation and all furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday. The cost of any damage or breakages must be paid to the Property Owner or their representative. The Property Owner or their representative shall be allowed access to the room at any reasonable time during the holiday.

  5. The number of persons using the room at any time must not exceed the maximum number as stated on the booking confirmation.

  6. You agree that you are over 18 years of age and that you accept full responsibility for all payments due and for the consequences of any actions of all persons who will use the suite during your holiday. You agree to be bound by the Booking Conditions.

  7. You must not use the room for any purpose other than that of a holiday.

  8. You must not use the room for any activity or in such a way as to cause nuisance or annoyance to other guests.

  9. You and your guests must comply with any reasonable regulations relating to the room, or the site within which the room is situated, which will be communicated to you on your arrival at the Property.

  10. Every effort has been made to ensure that room description is correct at the time of going to press or at the time of inspection of the room and all this information and statements made by representatives or employees of peaceful-portugal.com are made in good faith but without liability.

  11. In the event of any problem arising on arrival or during the holiday, the Holidaymaker should immediately bring this to the attention of the Property Owner or their representative.

  12. The Zororo Retreat operates a strict no smoking policy within the property.

  13. There is no lifeguard present in the swimming pool area.  All Guests are responsible for the safety of themselves and other members of their group.
