Situated 3km from the large town Figueiró dos Vinhos, Summer House is the perfect base to explore this beautiful and unspoilt region of Portugal. |

Summer House is only a 5 minute drive to the large town Figueiró dos Vinhos which has several large supermarkets, 2 banks, post office, farmacia, health centre, restaurants and cafe bars. The cottage is a traditional single story stone build with one double bedroom, separate modern bathroom (shower, toilet and handbasin) and spacious open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen opening onto a private patio with bbq, table and chairs. The cottage is in a secluded and tranquil location in the private 16,000 m2 grounds of Casa sem Vizinhos and has a private parking area. |

The main entrance (french doors) open onto the open plan kitchen lounge diner which has a fully equipped kitchen, table and four chairs and comforatable seating to relax. There is a log burner for those cosy winter evenings, UK satellite TV, DVD player and wireless internet. |

The bedroom has one double bed and lots of storage for your clothing. |

Location Summer House is located on the outskirts of Quinta Telhada and is accessed via a good hard surfaced track approximately ½km from the main road. Summer House is a 5 minute drive from Figueiró dos Vinhos town centre which has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, supermarkets, banks, post office, medical centre, chemist, restaurants and cafe bars. Figueiró dos Vinhos also holds a weekly farmers market every Saturday. Surrounding Areas Foz de Alge, a natural fresh water lake, used locally for fishing, swimming, sailing or just relaxing and soaking up the sun shine. Take a picnic or eat out at 2 local restaurants/cafe bars. Ana Aldeia de Aviz praia fluvial located just off the IC8. During the summer months various activities are held such as aquatic games, gimnastics, rafting and treasure hunts. There is also an onsite restaurant and cafe bar. Barragem Cabril, a natural fresh water lake, used locally for fishing, swimming, scuba diving or just relaxing and soaking up the sun. Albufeira da Bouça is a 2nd lagoon down stream from the Barragem Cabril. The lagoon covers an area of 500 hectares and has an average depth of 20 metres. Albufeira da Bouça was constructed for the production of electricity but has attracted water sports such as fishing and canoeing. |
