Quinta Lua Azul is a lovingly restored self catering 1st floor cottage apartment, in a beautiful location, situated just outside Graça and Pedrógão Grande. Fresh bread is delivered daily and just a few minutes walk is a frienldy local shop/cafe bar.

Quinta Lua Azul is a restored stone cottage, the fist floor apartment consists of two ensuite bedrooms, one double bed and one with bunk beds. A large modern fitted kitchen/ lounge/ dining room with a dining table and four chairs, two comfortable sofas, satellite tv and internet.

Outside there is a raised terrace with wonderful views.

Walking distance from the cottage is shop/cafe bar.

For your comfort during the winter months there is a log burner.

The main entrance opens onto a large kitchen/lounge/dining room. The modern kitchen area has fitted cupboards, an electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave and for guest use downstairs in the utility room there is a washing machine and fridge freezer. The dining area has a table and four chairs

The spacious lounge area has two comfortable sofas, a coffee table, satellite tv, wifi internet, dvd player and a log burner for those chilly winter evenings. For your entertainment a variety of books, games and dvd's are available.

The master bedroom has a double bed with drawers beneath, two bedside tables and lamps a double wardrobe and a chair.

French doors from the bedroom lead out to the raised sun terrace.

The modern ensuite bathroom has a full sized bath with shower above, a wash hand basin with a mirror and light above and a toilet.

The 2nd bedroom has two full sized bunk beds, a single wardrobe, a bedside table with lamp, ensuite bathroom and french doors leading out to the terrace.

Outside Areas

Quinta Lua Azul has a walled and gated courtyard with potted plants and a bench, the perfect place to sit and relax away from the midday sun and on the terrace upstairs there is a table and four chairs with sun umbrella

The property is accessed by a short flight of stairs so is unsuitable for disabled visitors.

Location

Quinta Lua Azul receives fresh bread delivered daily and just a short walk away you will find a friendly local cafe bar/shop Cafe Aves that sells fresh eggs from the local farm and also serves lunchtime meals.

The owners of Quinta Lua Azul are on hand for advice and recommendation of places of interest and speak English, and a small amount of German and French.

The larger village Outão is a 30-40 minute walk and is on the main (once a day) bus route.

The market town Figueiró dos Vinhos is only a 10 minute drive and has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, supermarkets, cafe bars, restaurants, shops and weekly farmers markets.

Graça is a sub-municipality of Pedrógão Grande. Pedrógão Grande is a 10 minute drive from Quinta Lua Azul and has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, cafe bars, restaurants, shops, banks, DIY suppliers, cinema, internet cafe, schools, health centre and pharmacies.

At Pedrógão Grande you will find the Barragem Cabril which was constructed in 1954 in the Rio Zêzere to form a lagoon area (albufeira) of 55km. The lagoon is bordered by pine and eucalyptus trees and the dam provides domestic electricity. The Barragem Cabril is used locally for swimming, fishing and scuba diving and has a floating swimming pool.

Quinta Lua Azul is an ideal location for couples, friends and families to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a great location surrounded by natural beauty.

Quinta Lua Azul is ideally situated in a rural but not isolated location, less than 5 minutes from the IC8 and perfect as a base if you are visiting to view properties or renovating your own property.
