			For a truly rural holiday Quinta da Vida is the perfect place. An ideal location for those looking to relax, wind down and escape or as a base while viewing property in this stunning region of Portugal.
			Quinta da Vida is a working small holding, the guest cottage is situated in a tranquil location on the banks of the river Pera, all you will hear are the soothing sounds of the flowing water and the birds singing in the trees. The guest cottage is a converted water mill and is located approximately 500 meters from the main house ensuring mutual privacy. There is one large bedroom with a double and two single beds, a spacious kitchen lounge diner and two large outside terraces, perfect for dining alfresco.
			The main entrance opens onto the open plan kitchen lounge diner which has a fully equipped kitchen, table and four chairs and comforatable seating to relax. There is a log burner for those cosy winter evenings and a water mine providing crystal clear drinking water. French doors open onto the lower sun terrace.
			The spacious family bedroom has one double bed and single bunk beds, a log burner and TV. The bedroom window has wonderful views of the river Pera.
				The on-suite bathroom has a large walkin shower, wash handbasin and toilet. Eco Friendly Electricity at Quinta da Vida guest cottage is provided by solar power and fresh water is fed from the underground mine. For the more experienced user there is also a solar oven (available by request).
			Linnen and towels provided Gas and electric included No smoking in the accommodation No pets please The property is accessed via a long sloping gravel path so is unsuitable for disabled or infirm visitors. The owners of Quinta da Vida are close by for advise and recommendations of places of interest and speak French, Dutch, English and Portuguese.
			Organic Produce Quinta da Vida is a working small holding and has a variety of organic produce available for you to purchase including: Fresh Vegetables and Salad Goats Cheese Goats Milk
			Location
			Quinta da Vida is located on the outskirts of Salaborda Velha, the quinta is accessed via a 3km dirt track. Mosteiro and Pedrógão Grande are a 10 minute drive. Pedrógão Grande has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, supermarkets, banks, post office, medical centre, chemist, restaurants and cafe bars. Pedrógão Grande also holds a weekly farmers market every Monday. Mosteiro is a beautiful little town with a large Praia Fluvial (inland river beach) and cafe bar/restaurant.
				Quinta da Vida is an ideal holiday location for families and friends to enjoy relaxing countryside walks in the surrounding areas of natural beauty and breathtaking scenery or swim in the river which is a stones throw from the front door.
