Quinta da Valada is a large 4 bedroom 3 story house and a separate 1 bedroom cottage set in extensive landscaped gardens with a swimming pool. Quinta da Valada is in a tranquil location less than 5 minutes from Figueiró dos Vinhos town centre. |

Quinta da Valada is located in the small village Valada on a quiet country lane surrounded by pine and eucalyptus trees. Quinta da Valada is in a fantatstic location on a ridge with unspoilt panoramic views of the valley below and mountains beyond. |

The main house (Casa Julio) has 3 floors, 4 double bedrooms, 2 family bathrooms and a large kitchen dining room. On the ground floor there is a 50m² arched patio, the perfect place to dine alfresco surrounded by tropical plants and views of the pool. The covered patio is south facing and captures the winter sun making it the perfect place to relax all year round. |

The ground floor entrance opens onto a large kitchen dining room with modern fitted cupboards, a fitted gas oven and hob with extractor above, a microwave, washing machine and dish washer. The dining area has a large table with seating for 8-10 people. A door from the kitchen leads into a large bar and games room. Stairs in the corner of the room lead up to the first floor. |

The first floor has two double bedrooms each with two single beds, wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps. There are two seprate family bathrooms, both with a bath, shower, toilet and bidet. The spacious lounge has two sets of patio doors leading out onto the wrap around balcony with views to the south and west and double doors leading into the hall. For those chilly winter evenings all rooms have radiators and the lounge also has a wood burning fireplace. |

Next to the lounge is an L-shaped room (study) with a sofa bed and writing desk. The study also has a small kitchenette and a conservatory that leads onto the wrap around balcony. |

The third floor (top floor) has a large lounge/reading room with windows over looking the rear garden. Two doors lead into the two large double bedrooms both with windows over looking the front garden. |

Casa Maria Guest Cottage To the left of the main house is a detached one bedroom guest cottage. The guest cottage is a single story building split into 3 levels. The main entrance opens onto a spacious room lounge. The lounge has a wood burning log fire and comfortable seating. A doorway (one step up) leads into a large double bedroom with a small log burner and patio doors leading out to a private and gated patio area. |

Outside Areas Quintada Valada has 10,000m² of landscaped gardens, a 5x10m swimming pool, parking garage and a large botanical green house. To the front of the main house is a horse shoe shaped drive way leading to the parking garage and storage room. |

Sloped pathways wind through the landscaped gardens to reveal hidden terraces with traditional stone walls, shaded seating and and tropical plants. On the lower terrace is a large botanical green house with mango, lime and banana trees. The swimming pool is located on the terrace below the main house. The 5x10m swimming pool is surrounded by raised established flower beds, a stone terrace and a grassed area. |

Location Quinta da Valada is located on the outskirts of Figueiró dos Vinhos town just 5 minutes drive from the town centre. Figueiró dos Vinhos has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, banks, post office, mini mercados, cafe bars and restaurants and internet cafe. Figueiró dos Vinhos also holds a weekly farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday. Figueiró dos Vinhos is situated centrally between Lisbon and Porto airports, both approximately 2 ½ hours by car and less than 10 minutes from Pedrógão Grande Barragem Cabril, a natural lake, ideal for swimming, fishing and scuba diving. Sao Simao Praia Fluvial (inland river beach) is a 5 minute drive Mosteiro Praia Fluvial (inland river beach) is a 15 minute drive Castanheira de Pera is approximately 15 minutes drive and is home to the Praia das Rocas (open air swimming pool with wave machine). |
