The short drive through woodland winds down a beautiful tree lined valley of pine and eucalyptus. Quinta da Fonte offers camping facilities for tents also available are 2 guest rooms each with one double and one single bed. Camping The camping area is made up of 3 large grassed terraces bordered by a shallow stream and established trees and shubs. The 2nd terrace has a shaded seating area and a small section of the river has been dammed to create a shallow spash pool to dip your feet.

			Outside the sanitory blocks there is an area for washing your crockery and a small general supplies store.
				Guest Rooms Quinta da Fonte has two guest rooms located at the rear of the main house with wonderful views of the valley and open on to the terrace area. Each room has one double and one single bed, duvets, pillows and mosquito nets are provided, guests are advised to bring their own linen. Dining Room & Library In the former ‘adega’ (wine cellar) you will find a comfortable indoor dining area (when the weather does not allow dining on the terrace outside) There is also a small library with both books and games available for use during your stay.
			Restaurant and Bar Quinta da Fonte's chef 'Liedewij' prepares dinner everyday. Guests are requested to register in the morning if you wish to be included in the evening meal. Dinner is served on the terrace (weather permitting). If you have special diatary needs or wishes you are welcome to discuss these with Liedewij in person. Vegetarian meals can be provided upon request. The dinner menu is announced each morning, so that you may decide your dinner plans in advance. Meals are prepared with as many fresh organic produce as possible, grown at the Quinta Breakfast, lunch and dinner are avaialble on the terrace. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a drink, an ice cream or snack of choice. Non residents are also welcome to dine at the terrace restaurant. Please contact us for seating reservations.

			Activities Quinta da Fonte and its surroundings are rich in opportunities for entertainment and recreation for the entire family. Children will find endless diversions without the need to leave the campsite. We are happy to arrange creative activity sessions for the children. We organise activities for guests on a regular basis, these include a picnic at the lake and wine tasting at a local vineyard as well as a weekly barbeque. For those that prefer to just relax and read there are hammocks located in shady areas beside the stream. There is a man-made lake located 4 kilometres from the campsite. It is the cleanest lake in Europe and an idyllic spot to spend your leisure time. The lake is also dotted with picturesque villages such as Dornes and a visit to both can easily be combined in a single excursion Location Quinta da Fonte is located on the outskirts of Carapinhal in a quiet and secluded location yet you are only 15 minutes from Figueiró dos Vinhos town. Figueiró dos Vinhos has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, supermarkets, banks, post office, medical centre, chemist, restaurants, cafe bars, internet cafe and large weekly farmers market held every Saturday.
				Quinta da Fonte is an ideal holiday location for families and friends to enjoy relaxing countryside walks in the surrounding areas of natural beauty and breathtaking scenery.
