			Quinta Cottages are set in the rolling picturesque landscape of rural Portuguese life, made up of three beautiful self catering properties; Chestnut Barn, Mimosa Cottage and Acorn House.
			These holiday homes are based on the Quinta do Vale de Ferreiro, a farm house with 24 acres of terraced pastures inhabited by chickens, ducks, goats and rabbits, interlaced with eucalyptus forest, pine and oak trees, olive and various fruit trees, and bordered on one side by a meandering brook with a natural swimming hole and waterfall. Each holiday home is fully equipped with TV, DVD, Play station (2 consoles), microwave, blender, fridge, oven, BBQ, and each has its own outside space. Matt, Jo and family welcome their guests onto their farm with woodland walks, 2 swimming pools, children’s playground with sand pit, football area and much more……
			The Quinta has many quiet places where one can relax with a book, paint or just lay in the sun. However if you are looking for more activity there are many sports that can be arranged locally such as hiking, horse riding, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, snow boarding, archery, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, wine tasting, donkey safaris, river swimming.
			Quinta do Vale de Ferreiro is just a ten minutes walk through the woods to the local village which has 3 cafes/bars, a fishmonger, a small shop selling basic food and wine, a pharmacy and a post office. Oliveiro do Hospital is just a ten minute drive away and has the necessary amenities such as supermarkets, shops, hospital, restaurants, night clubs etc.
				Whatever type of holiday you are looking for, whether it is relaxing by the swimming pool, getting a tan and reading a book, to visiting historical monuments, to activities try Quinta cottages.
				Mimosa Cottage This former farm worker's cottage sleeps up to 6 people, having a master bedroom with double bed and french windows to a secluded patio, a 2nd. bedroom with bunks & a sofa-bed in the living area.
			You enter into the cottage on the upper floor into the living room with a fully equipped kitchen area with gas oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, blender and fridge. Then descend to the ground floor where the bedrooms and bathroom are situated.
				Chestnut Barn The Chestnut Barn has been attractively restored and furnished to provide comfortable, spacious holiday accommodation.
			The ground floor is split level. There is a large kitchen / dining room with steps leading up to the balconied sitting room. From here double doors open onto the sun terrace area where wonderful views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed. The staircase leads to the spacious landing, 2 good-sized bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms have ample space for extra beds. Upstairs ceilings are beamed and timbered and the property is simply but tastefully decorated and furnished.

			* Minimum stay 3 nights
			Deposits A 50% deposit is required with your reservation. The balance is payable 28 days before commencement of your stay. Payments may be made in sterling or euros. Linnen and Towels Bed linnen, bath, hand and tea towels are included in the price. Cot linnen is provided on request. Arrivals and Departures On the first day of your stay please arrive between 4pm and 8pm. Please vacate by 10am at the end of your stay. Alternative arrangements may be possible if agreed in advance. Taking Care of the Property A £200 damage deposit is payable 28 days before the start of your stay. The property, furniture and equipment are to be left in the same condition as they were found on arrival. Any damage, loss or breakage must be reported and paid for and will be deducted from your damage deposit.
