			Oliveira do Hospital
			Oliveira do Hospital is located at the northern edge of the district of Coimbra in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela (Star Mountains). Its fertile land favours agriculture, wine and cheese are its most important products.



			Igreja de São Pedro
			Located in Lourosa near Oliveira do Hospital, Igreja de São Pedro is a 10th century pre Romanesque church founded in 912 (and bears an insription that gives this as its year of construction). Igreja de São Pedro has three isles with ten horseshoe arches and horseshoe shaped windows.




			Santa Cruz Parish Church
			Located beside the Oliveira do Hospital town hall, Santa Cruz Parish Church is 13th century and houses the tomb of Domingues Joanes, a knight of the Order of the Hospitallers. Other attractive features of the church are its wooden painted ceilings and 14th century altarpiece depicting the Virgin Mary with St Joachim and St Anne. Inside the Santa Cruz Parish Church courtyard stands the largest lime tree in Portugal, 25 meters high and 4 meters wide.
