			Glampelo offers a unique holiday experience to its guests, glamping in luxury (hotel style) safari tents.
			Glampelo is located in a small and private valley a short distance from Campelo and Castanheira de Pera and is made up of 12 south facing terraces spanning 3,000m². Each of Glampelo's five luxurious safari tents are located on their own terrace to ensure mutual privacy and unspoilt views. Glampelo has it's own private river frontage, fed by the crystal clear waters of the river Alge, where in the early morning hours you can watch from your veranda as the deer gather to take a drink.
			Your luxury accommodation is a 25m² Luxetenten and has been furnished to the highest standard in keeping with the 'out of africa' theme. The interior of the tent is open plan and has a four poster double bed, a lounge seat, a roll top bath with shower above, a hand basin set in a solid wood dresser with mirror above and a wardrobe. The toilet is located at the rear of the tent in a private cubicle.
				Each safari tent has its own private veranda with a table and comfortable chairs and and wonderful views of the terraces, the river and beyond.
			Eco-Friendly Glampelo is conscious of its carbon foot print and where ever possible is environmentally friendly by recycling products and generating solar power. Water is supplied by a bore hole and waste water is purified and used to feed the vegetables, flowers and trees on the land. For this reason guests are asked to use only eco friendly products. Should you require eco products during your stay you can purchase them at the main reception.
				Glampelo is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Portugal, lush green forests and beautiful flora and fauna. Guests are asked to respect the land and wildlife, camp fires and bbq's are strictly forbidden on the terraces and in the gardens. Smoking within your safari tent is not allowed, ashtrays are provided throughout the Glampelo domain, please ensure your cigarettes are entirely extinguished.
			Community Terrace
			The community terrace is the social heart of Glampelo. The community terrace has a bar, a kitchen, tables and chairs, a lounge corner and a sound system.
			A continental breakfast is served on the community terrace each morning from 8:30 until 10:00am. For a small additional charge breakfast can be served on your private veranda. From 10:00am until early evening you can purchase delicious sandwiches and salads made from fresh locally sourced products. Snacks, chocolate, crisps and ice-creams can be found in the community tent vending machines. In the evening, after dinner, the community terrace transforms into 'the place to be' where you can chat with other guests, dance and sample Glampelo's famous cocktails.

			Japanese Facial Massage
			While staying at Glampelo why not treat yourself to a Japanese facial massage.
			Japanese facial massage is a traditional art like the Japanese tea ceremony. It's a refined massage which treats the upper and lower facial tissues, pressure points and meridians according to Japanese tradition. This massage focuses on every part from your shoulders to the top of your head with very specific techniques.
			It's a unique type of massage and cannot be compared to any other kind.

			If you prefer to have your breakfast in bed, or you'd like to enjoy a romantic tête-à-tête with Champagne and snacks.

			The photography package includes superior styling, make-up and communication, together with a unique atmosphere during the shoot and of course the wonderful surroundings. Glampelo offer you a top result from experienced fashion and glamour photographer Patrick and much sought after make-up artist and stylist Inga. Photography packages include portfolios for models, art photography, wedding photos and of course a wonderful souvenir of your stay at Glampelo.
			Shuttle Service If you prefer not to drive a Glampelo representative can collect you from the local bus station free of charge in their air conditioned vehicle.
			Location
			Glampelo is located centrally between Lisbon and Porto airports, both approximately 2 hours by car. Glampelo representatives are multi-lingual and speak English, Flemish, German and French.
			Castanheira de Pera Castanheira de Pera is a 15 minute drive away and has shops, mini supermarkets, bar/cafes, restaurants, chemist, bakery, post office, three banks, medical centre and Praia das Rocas (open air swimming pool with wave machine).
				Poço Corga Praia Fluvial Poço Corga Praia Fluvial a natural fresh water river beach just 10 minutes drive away. With ample shaded areas to sit and open spots to sunbath and a restaurant/cafe bar within walking distance, Poço Corga is a great place for a day out.
			Mosteiro Praia Fluvial Mosteiro Praia Fluvial, 10 minutes drive, a natural fresh water river beach in the centre of Mosteiro town. Shaded free parking areas, lots of large open spaces for sunbathing, cafe bar/restuarant onsite for snacks and lunch menu.
				Barragem do Cabril Barragem do Cabril, a lagoon, used locally for fishing, swimming, scuba diving or just relaxing and soaking up the sun. The Barragem do Cabril was constructed in 1954 in the Rio Zêzere and forms a lagoon area (albufeira) of 55km.
