Forest Cottage is an ideal rural hideaway on a 1 hectare quinta only 2km from Figueiro dos Vinhos town centre and 20 minutes drive from Castanheira de Pera.

Forest Cottage is a detached property with three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious open plan living area and kitchen. The cottage has beamed ceilings and is traditionally furnished.

The master bedroom has an on-suite with Indian style toilet. The 2nd bedroom is off of the lounge separated by a partition wall and curtain and the 3rd bedroom is located on the mezanine floor over looking the lounge.

Figueiró dos Vinhos has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town

A pharmacy, medical centre, bank, ATM machine, traditional grocery shops and excellent restaurants serving traditional local dishes. There is also a large farmers market held every Saturday.

Forest Cottage is a fully equipped self catering cottage, all linnen and towels are provided. The kitchen has a 4 ring hob, grill and oven and a fridge. The lounge has a comfortable seating for relaxing, dining table and chairs for 6 people.

Forest Cottage is a rural retreat for those looking to relax, unwind and escape from the stress of modern living. There is no TV at the cottage.

Location

Forest cottage is 2½ hours drive from both Lisbon and Porto airports. Due to the location of the property a car is recommended. Figueiró dos Vinhos has regular bus and coach services to Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto.

Pedrógão Grande is a 15 minute drive and home to the Barragem Carbil, Albufeira da Bouça and Açude de Mega, natural lakes and inland beaches perfect for sunbathing, swimming and relaxing.

Castanheira de Pera is a 20 minute drive and hosts the Praia das Rochas (open air swimming pool with wave machine)
