Casinha Pedra is a lovingly restored former farmhouse in a tranquil location close to the towns Cabaços and Alvaiázere.

Casinha Pedra has two double bedrooms a separate spacious family bathroom and a lounge, kitchen dining room.

Outside there is a private enclosed garden and a private parking area.

For your comfort during the summer months there are cooling fans and during the winter months radiator central heating.

Casinha Pedra is located in the village of Pussos, a short drive from the N110 and the towns Cabaços, and Alvaiázere

The main entrance is accessed via a short flight of external steps and opens onto a beautifully furnished lounge, kitchen dining room. There is a modern fitted kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a fridge and microwave, all pots, pans and crockery are provided.

The dining area has a table and seating for four.

The lounge area has a comfortable sofa, a flat screen TV with UK satellite channels and a CD player.

There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables and lamps and fitted wardrobes. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, bedside table with lamps and a chest of drawers.

The spacious modern family bathroom has a large enclosed shower a wash hand basin and toilet.

All rooms have radiator central heating.

Downstairs and to the side of the accommodation there is a private gated and walled garden with a table and four chairs, sun umbrella and a bbq, perfect for sunbathing, dining alfresco and taking in the wonderful views.

Casinha Pedra is located on the edge of the village of Pussos on a quiet lane surrounded by fields and the hills beyond.

Change over times are usually flexible, however if there are back to back bookings then a 10am departure and a 4pm arrival is requested.

Casinha Pedra is located just 3 minutes drive from the N110 and the town of Cabaços where you will find a bakery, restaurants and cafe bars, shops, a bank and a post office. Less than 2 minutes drive you will also find a large supermarket 'Viva'.

3km away is the town of Alvaiázere. Alvaiázere has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, shops, cafe bars, restaurants supermarkets and a weekly farmers market every Wednesday.

Slightly further afield is the large town Ansião. Ansião has large supermakets, shops, cafe bars, resturants, banks, post office, chemist and busy weekly farmers market held every Saturday.

Dornes & Castelo de Bode Lake

Dornes is located in the north of the district of Santarém. The beautiful and picturesque medieval village of Dornes is today a peninsula on the shores of the Castelo de Bode and has less than 800 inhabitants.

The Castelo de Bode lake is the largest internal lake in Portugal which originated from the dam that was built in the Rio Zêzere. The lake is surrounded by forests of Pine and Eucalytus and streches more than 60 kilometers.

Castelo do Bode It is ideal place for fishing, sailing, swimming, canoeing, waterskying, cycling and walking.

The lake is a haven for birds and wildlife and in the village of Martinchel there is an eco museum.

The dam measures 115 meters and was constructed during 1945 to 1951 and is a popular tourist attraction.

Tomar is a historical town on the banks of the Nabão River and probably most famous for its 12th century Templar castle.

The main street leads to the Gothic Church of São João Baptista and the main square is surrounded by 17th century buildings.

20 kilometers south of Tomar you will find the fairytale Templar Castle of Almourol, built in 1171 on a little island in the middle of the Tagus River.
