Casa Rosden is a recently re-furbished self catering studio cottage, in a tranquil, relaxing and picturesque location. Situated just outside Tomar. Casa Rosden is within easy reach of supermarkets, cafe bars and restaurants.

Casa Rosden is a beautiful studio cottage and consists of one large room with one double bed, a modern fitted kitchen area, dining table and 2 chairs, 2 comfortable armchairs, satellite tv and wifi internet. The 2nd bedroom can accommodate a couple in a double bed or two childen in single beds and there is a separate family bathroom.

Outside there is a large under cover BBQ and dining area, sun terrace with wonderful views, swimming pool and private gated parking area.

Walking distance from the cottage are two cafe bars and a restaurant 'A Luria'

For your comfort there is a ceiling fan to cool you during the summer and electric convection heaters during the winter.

Casa Rosden has one double bed, two bedside cabinets with drawers and lamps, a double wardrobe and two comfortable armchairs. For parties of three (2 adults and 1 small child) a camp bed can be made available (a small supplemental charge applies).

The kitchen area has fitted cupboards, a fridge, 2 ring electric hob, electric oven/grill, microwave, kettle and toaster.

There is a glass dining table and two chairs for dining inside, a tv cabinet with UK satellite tv and wifi internet.

The modern private bathroom has a walkin shower, hand basin with mirror and lights above and a toilet.

The 2nd bedroom can accommodate a couple in a double bed or 2 children in single beds.

Outside Areas

Outside the cottage there is a large under cover seating and dining area with a BBQ, sink and washing machine.

Around the swimming pool there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas, pool towels are also provided.

Casa Rosden Studio Cottage is on one level and there is a driveway to the back of the main house allowing guests with any difficulties easy access to the accommodation.

Location

Walking distance from Casa Rosden you will find two cafe bars and 1st class restaurant 'A Luria'. Within a 5 minute drive you will find many more wonderful restaurants.

Less than 10 minutes drive is Castelo do Bode, the largest reservoir of fresh water in Portugal. Built between 1945 and 1951 it is a popular tourist attraction where you can canoe, fish, sail and swim.

Convento de Cristo in Tomar is a 10 minute drive. Convento de Cristo is one of Portugal’s most important historical monuments and can be seen in the distance from the poolside terrace at Casa Rosden. Built by the Knight’s Templar in the 12th Century Convento de Cristo is on the World Heritage list of UNESCO

The praia fluvial of Aldeia do Mato is only a 15 minute drive, here you can swim and hire canoes, there is ample free parking and an onsite cafe bar for snacks and drinks.

Less than 20 minutes drive you will find the Pegões Aquaduct near Tomar, built between 1593 and 1613 to supply water to the Convento do Cristo. Pegões Aquaduct has 180 arches and is over 6 kms long.
