			For a truly rural holiday Casa das Cebolas Cansadas is the perfect place to stay. An ideal location for those looking to relax, wind down and escape or as a base while viewing property in this stunning region of Portugal.
			Casa das Cebolas Cansadas offers caravaning holidays for up to six people and is situated in a fantastic location just 15 minutes from Castanheira de Pera. Casa das Cebolas Cansadas is a special place to recharge your batteries, swim in the pool, chill out in the spa, read a book in one of the many shaded seating areas, walk in the pine forest or eat alfresco under the pergola. Casa das Cebolas Cansadas welcomes singles, couples, families and friends to share their small piece of paradise in central Portugal
			The caravan has a small private and gated terrace to the front with a table, 4 chairs, sun umbrella and a log burner. The large awning has been divided into two and has a cosy lounge area with a confortable sofa, a tv for watching films, dvd player, cd player, full sized fridge and a selection of books, games and dvd's.
				Curtained off is a double bedroom with a full size double bed with bedside tables and lamps
			Inside the caravan there is small kitchen with facilities for snacks, a double ring gas hob and a kettle, all pots, pans, crockery and utencils are provided.
				The lounge has seating for up to six people and has UK satellite tv and a dvd player. A bore hole supplies washing water to the caravan kitchen and bathroom. In addition to the caravan bathroom there is a separate outside toilet.
			At the rear of the caravan is a double bedroom area which can be closed off with sliding doors and the lounge seating converts into two single beds.
			Outside Areas
			Casa das Cebolas Cansadas is set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland. At the rear of the caravan is a large sun terrace over looking the swimming pool and separate 'chill out' spa with fantastic views of the valley and beyond.
			Gravel pathways wind through the landscaped gardens to reveal hidden terraces and a small wild life pond with Iberian frogs and newts and shaded seating areas amongst the beautiful flowers and trees.

			Chill Out While We Cater For You
			Casa das Cebolas Cansadas offers its guests self catering, bed and breakfast or breakfast and an evening meal. Why not have a totally relaxing holiday without having to cook or do the washing up. A two course meal with wine is only €7.50 euros per person (either starter or sweet, whichever you prefer) or if you have the appetite you can have all three courses for an extra €2.50 euros per person. A weekly menu will be provided on arrival, a typical menu may vary depending on the season and consists of:

			Breakfast is optional as you may wish to relax in the mornings and eat late but a continental breakfast is available priced at just €3.00 euros per person

			Bifanas - 2 medium pork steaks cooked in garlic and piri-piri sauce and served with rice, chips and a salad garnish Chinese Belly Pork - Succulent pieces of belly pork slow cooked in a rich Chinese barbeque sauce and served on a bed of egg noodles with prawn crackers. Mexican Chicken - Chunky chicken pieces cooked in a chilli and tomato sauce with sweet corn and served with rice, tortilla chips and a mixed green salad Pork Chop or Pork Steak - Pork chop or large pork steak with mushrooms in a cream and garlic sauce and served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables Hake fillet - Hake fillet with herbs, lime, onions and green peppers cooked in garlic and white wine and served with new potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables Lasagne or Pizza - Home-made lasagne or pizza served with mixed salad and either coleslaw or garlic bread Chicken or Pork Jalfrazi - Medium spiced chicken or pork curry served with basmati rice, chapattis and raita sauce Salad Plate - Chicken, tuna, ham, cheese or crabsticks served with a full mixed salad and cold new potatoes

			Barbequed pork steak, chicken, sausage ,home-made burger and belly pork with a buffet of roasted vegetables, salad, rice and jacket potatoes, followed by trifle, cake or ice cream and all washed down with a beer or wine.
			Vegetarian and Children’s Meals
			A vegetarian option of the main menu is always available. If you prefer plain cooking or have special dietary needs just let us know in advance. A children’s menu is available on request which includes fish fingers, chicken nuggets, burgers and pizzas served with chips or potatoes and baked beans with a soft drink included in the price.

			Castanheira de Pera Castanheira de Pera is a 15 minute drive away and has shops, mini supermarkets, bar/cafes, restaurants, chemist, bakery, post office, three banks, medical centre and Praia das Rocas (open air swimming pool with wave machine).
				Poço Corga Praia Fluvial Poço Corga Praia Fluvial a natural fresh water river beach just 10 minutes drive away. With ample shaded areas to sit and open spots to sunbath and a restuarant/cafe bar within walking distance, Poço Corga is a great place for a day out.
			Mosteiro Praia Fluvial Mosteiro Praia Fluvial, 10 minutes drive, a natural fresh water river beach in the centre of Mosteiro town. Shaded free parking areas, lots of large open spaces for sunbathing, cafe bar/restuarant onsite for snacks and lunch menu.
				Barragem do Cabril Barragem do Cabril, a lagoon, used locally for fishing, swimming, scuba diving or just relaxing and soaking up the sun. The Barragem do Cabril was constructed in 1954 in the Rio Zêzere and forms a lagoon area (albufeira) of 55km.
