Casa da Oliveira offers 1st class bed and breakfast accommodation in a tranquil and relaxing location. Avecasta is a large village located centrally in the triangle of Alvaiázere, Ferreira do Zêzere and Tomar.

Casa da Oliveira is a large single story villa offering continental or full english bed and breakfast to its guests.

There are two large rooms, one double and one twin, a large modern bathroom, swimming pool, terrace and bbq area.

For your comfort rooms are heated during the winter months

The village of Avecasta is ideally situated, only 5 minutes drive from the IC3 with easy access to Alvaiázere, Tomar and Ferreira do Zêzere.

The 1st bedroom has a double bed with beside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobes, 2 comfortable armchairs, coffee table and satellite tv and a window overlooking the rear garden and swimming pool.

The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobes and french doors opening onto the front verandah.

Breakfast

Breakfast (continental or full english) is served on the rear terrace or in the breakfast room inside the house.

Family Bathroom
The large modern family bathroom has a double vanity unit with mirrors above, a bath with shower above, toilet and bidet.

Family groups and friends of 4 persons share the bathroom. If there are only 2 people in your party the bathroom is exclusive to you during your stay.

Outside Areas

To the rear of the villa is a raised terrace with steps leading down to the garden and swimming pool area.

For guest use around the pool, there are sun loungers, a bench table, shaded seating area and a bbq.

Location

Walking distance from Casa da Oliveira you will find a cafe bar (Cafe Simoes).

The historic town of Tomar is only 14 kilometers south and best known for its connections to the Order of the Knights Templar. The Templars built a castle here in the late 12th century. Tomar attracts many tourists because of its varied monuments Castle and Convent of the Order of Christ, Church of Santa Maria do Olival and the Synagogue of Tomar.

The market town of Alvaiázere is only 10 kilometers north and has all the ameneties you would expect of a large town, shops, cafe bars, restaurants and a weekly farmers market every Wednesday.

The beautiful lakes and mountains of Ferreira do Zêzere are only 10 kilometers east. In the surroundings of Ferreira do Zêzere there is the medieval village Dornes with fantastic views over the river Zêzere

Casa da Oliveira is an ideal location for families and friends to enjoy relaxing countryside walks in the surrounding areas of natural beauty and ideally situated as a base if you are visiting to view properties.
