A Casa Branca is a recently renovated family home, nestled right in the heart of beautiful Central Portugal.

The house is situated in an unspoilt location that boasts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and outdoor activities in the surrounding countryside and combines new modern day facilities with a traditional feel of the real Portugal.


Located in the small traditional village of Figueira, neatly situated in between Pedrogão Grande and Figueiró dos Vinhos, easily accessible and easy to find being only a 3 minute drive from the IC8.

A Casa Branca is situated right on the edge of the forest with stunning south facing views over the mountains and is ideal as a holiday retreat. Whether you are here to view potential properties or are looking for outdoor activities such as bird watching, hiking, fishing, canoeing or riding, the spectacular scenery in the surrounding area offers it all. Alternatively if you are here on holiday, why not just relax, chill out by the poolbar and listen to the birds singing contentedly in the background.

The property is close to all local amenities (1KM) but due to its location is quiet and peaceful, Ideal if you are looking to get away from it all.

A Casa Branca is available all year round on a full rental basis and boasts 3 double rooms one with (en-suite and walk in shower) and a childs room with bunk beds. There is a large family bathroom with full sized bath bath and walk in shower with seating. Cot and high chair facilities are also available upon request.

There is a spacious open plan lounge/diner (15 metres x 5 metres) with traditional exposed beams and wood burning fireplace. UK and Portuguese satellite TV with over 300 chanels is installed in a separate 4 metre x 4 metre Air conditioned TV room with wall mounted TV and DVD player.

Free wireless broadband internet access is available in both the house and gardens and a guest computer is also provided free of charge.

All rooms have fully fitted central heating.

Guests have full use of the, gardens and swimming pool area and will have exclusivity during their stay.

Casa Branca has three large terraces, one at the front of the property (partially covered, with a dining table and six chairs) great for dining alfresco and taking in the mountain views and two further terraces at the back of the property over looking the swimming pool and gardens.

There is also a very private south facing walled courtyard, again with table and chairs, exterior lighting and BBQ for those lazy evenings outside.

All terraces have comfortable seating as does the fully fenced and gated pool area.

The pool has full width shallow Roman Steps, (ideal for children or the elderly) a swimming area of 4 x 8 metres and a gentle slope that leads to a maximum depth of 2 metres.

The pool also has lighting for night swimming. The paved patio and lawn area have sun lounger’s, sun shades and tables and chairs.

A pool bar, equiped with a coffee maker, fridge, grill, BBQ UK TV and DVD is also available for use during your stay, enhanced with i pod docking for music and broad band wifi facilities next to the pool.

Families With Children Welcome
For younger guests there is a large children’s sand pit, play house and garden swings situated within the garden. There is ample space to run around, kick balls or splash in the paddling pool. The play area is next to the enclosed pool area and is both secure and completely visable for parents.

Books, games toys and DVDS are available for both children and adults alike. The pool side bar also has a fridge freezer for ice creams to keep them busy and contented.
