Alvaiázere is bordered by the municipalities of Ansiăo (to the north), Figueiró dos Vinhos (to the northeast and east), Ferreira do Zęzere (to the southeast), Ourém (to the southwest) and Pombal (to the west). Alvaiázere is located centrally between Lisbon and Porto and very close to the IC3 (North-South connection) and the IC8 (East-West connection). Lisbon and Oporto airports are approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car. Alvaiázere holds a weekly farmers market every Wednesday. |
